Hey there!
I'm Melissa and I'm a UX designer. Yes, I do make things look pretty, but I also love to solve problems. Being a designer gives me the opportunity to create solutions while upholding a beautiful aesthetic. So whether it's designing prototypes for Jamaica’s International Tourism Board, or developing a solution to create a seamless DNA Activation experience for Ancestry, I love a good challenge. I play the role of a UI/UX designer, user researcher, branding specialist, copywriter, and beyond to communicate clear visions through visual storytelling.
I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Graphic Design and a Minor in Communications from the University of Arizona (Bear Down!) And in 2018 I received my UX Certification from the Nielsen Norman Group. I have a passion for design and continuously strive to expand my education in this industry.
